WARM AND COLD HOMEMADE FACE MASKS TO GET YOU THROUGH COLD MONTHS

10 WARM AND COLD HOMEMADE FACE MASKS TO GET YOU THROUGH COLD MONTHS

The cold winter air is much drier than in the summer and the bitter winds can soon dry out the skin on your face. Sometimes, in the colder months of the year, your daily moisturiser just won’t be enough to keep your skin hydrated and that’s when you should be using a face mask. You can buy hydrating face masks in the stores, but who needs all those chemicals in their face? Here are ten, all natural, face masks that will keep your skin in perfect condition, all the way through the cold months of winter.
1. Banana homemade face mask
Banana face masks are perfect for people who have combination skin because they hydrate the dry patches of skin without making greasy areas even greasier. To make a simple banana face mask, mash up one ripe banana and add two tablespoons of whole milk. Apply it to your face and leave it on for about twenty minutes, before washing off with warm water.
2. Warm honey homemade face mask

If you are looking for a lovely and relaxing warm face mask, then just warm up a cup of raw honey in a bowl of hot water, apply it your face and leave it to sit for twenty minutes. The warmth and the scent of the honey are just wonderful after a long day out in the cold.
