Thick Fog Blankets Delhi, Delays Flights
There were reports of traffic moving slowly in many areas of Delhi and the national capital region.
NEW DELHI:  Thick fog blanketed many areas in and around Delhi this morning with poor visibility hitting road traffic and delaying flights.
Earlier today, departures and arrivals were on hold at the airport as the runway visibility dropped to around 75 meters.
Departures have resumed now but some flights have been delayed and at least two diverted. No cancellations have been announced yet.

The MeT office has predicted overcast conditions for today along with the possibility of light rain and thundershowers in some parts of the capital.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 24 degrees Celsius and 11 degrees Celsius respectively.
