Reliance Jio Opens 4G Services to the Public via Employee Referral Program

Reliance Jio's 4G services haven't been officially rolled out yet, but the launch seems imminent, considering that an employee referral program is now under way.
While Reliance has yet to make an official announcement around this referral program, its employees have posted on Facebook, recruiting friends with the offer of 10GB free voice and data for the next three months. The program is on an invite-only model, where employees send users a unique code that needs to be presented at any Reliance Digital or Digital Express store.
"All you have to do is give me your mail ID and I shall send you an invite with a unique code. You can take a print of the same go to any Reliance Digital or Digital Express store... Buy 4G Volte LYF handset and avail this offer," writes Vijay Kumar, an Assistant Manager at Reliance Jio Infocomm in a Facebook post on Wednesday.
The referral program offers unlimited access for 90 days to its Digital Life package, which includes voice calls, HD video, high speed data, and SMS. The bundle also provides access to eight premium applications - which provide live TV, movies, TV shows, magazines, newspapers, news, and cloud storage. The offer also comes with coupons worth Rs. 15,000 in JioMoney. Users will be able to avail the offer by purchasing any Lyf-branded smartphone, which starts at Rs. 5,499.
